We want you to enjoy our cashmere products for a long time. That's why we have compiled the most important care instructions for your cashmere products. If you follow these instructions, you will not only appreciate and care for your favourite pieces, you will also enjoy them for much longer! Here we go.

How often should you wash cashmere products?

The rule of thumb for clothing is: after every fourth use at the latest. Since you don't usually wear our scarves and blankets on your bare skin, you can of course use them more often before washing them. It is important that you air the scarves well after wearing them and give them a 24-hour break between the next use.

Machine or hand wash?

In fact, the best thing to do is to take your cashmere products to the dry cleaners or machine wash them in the wool wash programme. This is better than any hand wash. But the basic rules for cashmere care are always: short and only slightly warm, so never over 30 degrees, always turn inside out and only spin briefly.

Which detergent is the best?

Liquid wool shampoo is best or, attention: a good hair shampoo. You can use a special cashmere soap, but it is not a must. Fabric softener is not suitable for cashmere. If you want to do something good for your cashmere, you can buy a conditioner and use it after about every tenth wash.

How to dry cashmere?

The best way is lying on the clothes horse. This is especially true for our cashmere blankets. Our scarves are so fine and light that you can hang them up carefully. Just make sure that they don't get an unsightly breakage.

What if my scarf or blanket is no longer cosy?

Our secret tip for cashmere care: put the damp scarf or blanket in a freezer bag in the freezer for one to two hours. Then dry it lying down. Works wonders!

And what if I spilled the beans?

Please do not soak and brush! This can cause your favourite piece to become matted. Simply apply shampoo or mild detergent to the stain and then straight into the wash.

What is the best way to store cashmere?

Dry and cool, ideally lying down, not hanging up.
But who even wants to let such a cosy fabric out of their hands?
